Balance in Life
Hello all! I know it's been a while since I have written...I apologize, please forgive me...I have been very busy integrating new things into my life. For over a year now I have been teaching Nutrition Classes designed to help mental and emotional wellness for a co-occurring institute. It has been a pleasure to work with clients recovering from addiction and mental health challenges.
Unfortunately, I have found that our society doesn't want to talk about it. I am unsure if its due to denial or shame or just not knowing how to deal with it. In the research I have done, I am grateful that the tools I carry are great blessings to this field of work. Helping people on an individual level to reclaim their self-preservation mechanisms to take action to live balanced lives is quite rewarding.
I myself have had to do the same. With the change of seasons (coming into autumn) we may feel more tired. We need the rest from such an intense summer. Without that rest we more easily make mistakes, get injured, crabby or have accidents. These can be prevented by taking extra time to rest.
With writing articles for Step 12 Magazine and teaching nutrition, plus running my Holistic business, plus working on a musical project with my husband on the weekends... Yes, I did have to allow myself patience to reintegrate time to blog. So THANK YOU for being PATIENT! As I always tell my clients, "It takes time to integrate, so be patient with yourself as you are making positive changes."
If you would like any assistance with how to integrate positive healthy change in your life, please contact me by email or phone. I look forward to hearing from you!
