Genetically Modified Salmon

Big fish, sounds great! But let's look at what's beneath the curtain...

Why you may ask? Well, just watch "Food Inc." then draw you own conclusions about how comforted you feel that since 2010 the former “Monsanto” Vice President Michael R. Taylor is now the Deputy Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  This information reeks of collusion! I remember the documentary showing just how Monsanto profited by taking small farmers to court because their GMO corn cross bred into these small farmer's crops. Then Monsanto grew so big they depleted these small farmers out of their money, their land and even their business.  Without any care or respect for the fact that farming was probably the only business these people knew AND was passed down for generations.  Monsanto only cares about its profit margin and dominating the market.  I have NO trust or respect for this kind of behavior.  

This is not the first time our government appointed officials, which hired to protect us, would overlook our safety.  Remembering 9-11 in NYC, if the catastrophe itself wasn't enough, the EPA told fire fighters that the air quality was SAFE to do the clean-up! We now know that due to the air quality, many of firefighters died or are suffering greatly from lung problems that could have been prevented had the EPA properly informed them.  That may have been costly but it would've been the right thing to do.  

So without appropriate studies and testing over time, these GMO super salmon may not be healthy for us or the ecosystems they may be swimming in.  I am really suspicious of these people in positions to protect "the people" that don't seem to care about our health.  Not only am I concerned about our long term HEALTH, I am concerned about our RIGHTS as the proposal of bringing these GMO super salmon to the market includes no labeling of such.  I believe we should have 'the right to know what we are eating'.  If they push this through as is, I guarantee it wont be the last GMO food (if you can call it that) that will not be labeled.  This is how they sneak in new law that has no regard for our rights, nor our health.

I have a very sensitive immune system, in which I have found that eating clean, natural DNA food, is generally the only medicinal way to eat.  I don't want to lose that ability. Do you? Please comment below... in the meantime, here's what else you can do:
