I think we as humans in our society tend to have a very challenging time with change.  We hold on tight to our old ways, people, animals, material possessions and who knows what else.  Its very normal that with loss comes grief and sadness, but once you get through it, you will always carry the memory of that special person.  I like to believe that taking on the characteristics I admired most about a loved one is what I can bring to my community and myself. Read more

I feel liberated! I just spent the weekend assisting the Accelerated NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner course in San Diego last weekend.  Even though it was 12 long hours per day of mostly sitting, I found it profound how much the energy of the room (with a hundred people) rose as they were clearing their emotional baggage.  It seemed like the energy rising was because the more they cleared their baggage, the more their unconscious minds connected and aligned to their spirits.  Read more

How's Your New Years' Resolution Going?

I jumped on board with tremendous enthusiasm, at the beginning of January, by working out with a personal trainer specializing in rehabilitating injuries and post-op.  In 2013, I began experiencing pain in my wrists and shoulders from my massage practice picking up to 15-20 massages per week - that's almost double what I was able to do after suffering whiplash injuries from a car accident in September of 2004. Read more
